The film utilizes existing audio interviews with Richey's sister, Rachel Elias and the Manic Street Preachers and is a chronological account of Richey's upbringing and youth; the formation and subsequent rise of Manic Street Preachers; Richey's artistic achievements; disappearance and enduring legacy through to the present day. A member of the seminal Welsh rock band Manic Street Preachers who disappeared February 1st, 1995. He was legally declared 'presumed dead' in 2008. The film will be a 90 minute exploration of Richey's artistic achievements, undisputed genius, integrity and subsequent legacy. It is a non-profit work and will be available for Free Download later this year. |

Through footage/photography/music and News Reports of the day - it is fashioned into a narrative of John's reflections of his life past and present and optimism for the future.
